Smallest RV with Shower and Toilet – Some Options

Smallest Rv With Shower And Toilet

Did you know that you don’t have to spend a fortune buying a Class A RV just because they come with all the cool amenities such as master bedrooms and luxurious bathrooms? Well, you don’t have to spend that much unless you really want to. Maybe you want the smallest RV with Shower and Toilet. Read on for some options.

Just because you aren’t prepared to buy one of those huge luxurious houses on wheels doesn’t mean that you forever have to keep an eye out for truck stops when you are driving or pulling around in your RV. You can simply get a cozy little RV with all the amenities.

The Smallest RV with Shower and Toilet

You can easily find a camper (Class B RV) with a bathroom and toilet. The options are out there in the market, and the beauty of it all is that you don’t have to settle for a terrible excuse for an RV bathroom either.

If you don’t like the bathroom in your small camper, you can simply upgrade that bathroom. It is kind of like bathroom remodeling but for a small camping trailer.

That being said, here are a couple of the smallest RVs with showers and toilets:

The Jay Sport Camping Trailer by Jayco

Jay Sport Camping Trailer is a mid-sized camper that can easily sleep a small family and still have enough room for a shower and toilet. The beauty of it is that it is offered in a wide variety of sizes, which makes it very easy for you to customize it the way you see fit. In fact, in Jayco’s list of optional extras for this camper is a shower and a toilet.

The Airstream Sport

As one of the most popular names in the RV industry, The Airstream Sport is a spectacular camper that comes in a vintage design. Airstream has long been known for its ability to produce quality campers with all the right amenities, and this option is not an exception to that rule.

Although this is a particularly small camper (it comes in 16 and 22-foot lengths), it does an excellent job of marrying that vintage look with modern convenience. It is designed in such a compact manner that almost everything in it goes above and beyond to save space.

The sink cover can double up as a chopping board; it has a convertible dinette that can double up as a bed for two giving this camper the ability to sleep 4; it had a bathroom with a metal sink the is fully equipped with a Moen faucet. The shower even has a handheld showerhead as well as a retractable clothesline. For its small size, this camper has a curiously spacious bathroom.

ICamp Elite

The ICamp Elite is a low-maintenance RV that makes RVing easy. Like most excellent campers, the ICamp Elite offers you different modular options that can be customized to your liking. One of those options comes with a shower and a toilet making this one of the coziest and fully kitted RV on the market.

Tips on How to Upgrade Your RV Shower

Let’s assume that you already bought yourself one of the above smallest RV with shower and toilet but aren’t quite as satisfied with the way your bathroom and toilet are set up. Or maybe you want to make it a bit more like the one you have a home; then there are some things (minor modifications) you can do to mold it more to your liking.

Here are some simple RV bathroom modification tips you can follow:

Get Yourself a new showerhead

If you don’t have the right showerhead in your RV, you will, unfortunately, run out of hot showering water faster than you would like. That is why you need to buy a low-flow showerhead to fix this issue. Not only does it look good, but it also gets the job done well while conserving your hot water.

Get an on-demand water heater

One way to solve that whole “hot water runs out too fast in your RV” problem is to get yourself an on-demand water heater. Having one of these installed will ensure that you never run out of hot water after every shower or dishwashing session.

Install a curved shower curtain rod

You will quickly notice that, no matter how customized your RV shower might be, it just can’t be as big as most people would want it to be. This means that, if you are a big person, the shower curtain will constantly be sticking to your body every time you take a shower.

One way to solve this problem is to get yourself a curved shower curtain rod. This will hold the shower curtain around your body, keeping it away from the middle where you and the showerhead will be, thus ensuring that the shower curtain doesn’t cling to your body with every showering session.

Install soap dispensers

Showering in small spaces calls for a bit of ingenuity, especially when it comes to using space economically. Installing wall-mounted soap dispensers will make your showering in such tight spaces more convenient.

Install a towel rod

For some weird reason, most RV bathrooms don’t come fully equipped with a towel rod. Taking a shower without having your towel nearby is a huge inconvenience, and you will need to install a towel rod as soon as possible.

If you are concerned about the space, then maybe you could have an over the door-towel rod, or you could simply skip that step altogether and go for a heavy-duty tower hook. Either one works just fine.

DIY baby bathtub

This is, by far, one of the biggest issues for RV parents. How do you wash your baby? Do you bring them into the shower with you? That can’t be fun. One solution to this issue is to DIY a baby bathtub using a collapsible foldable laundry. This will make your life so much easier when traveling with a baby.

Some of the above mentioned RVs indeed come with customized showers and toilets, but just in case you don’t get everything you want, these little modifications can help make your RV shower a much homier space. Are you ready to buy the smallest RV with shower and toilet?
